I am a therapist, queer woman, sister, friend. When I’ve needed help, it’s been hard to find the type of support I need. So, I’ve dedicated my career to being that person for others.
I love seeing people thriving, living the lives that make them happy. When you feel fulfilled, we will celebrate the progress that you have made. However, it takes work to get there. If you are here on this website, something is not working for you in this moment.
You can expect a smiling face, laughter, and crying in our sessions. I’m all about feelings. Don’t worry, we will take things entirely at your pace! When it gets hard, we will hold hope for a better future.
I work from a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach. Therapy with me is relational, interpersonal, and attachment based (meaning it is in-the-moment). My work is anti-diet, anti-racist, culturally humble, and intersectional. I also pull from Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I find that these are helpful for providing specifics skills and frameworks for us to rely on when needed.
Outside of the virtual office, I am the same person with the same values that you will meet. I love hiking, climbing, spending time with my two cats, partner, and friends. I love art and music, and will likely bring some of this creativity into our work together.
